Description of 3-D Ultra MiniGolf Maniacs
From one of the game authors, golfdude:
I was involved in one of Sierra Entertainment/Dynamix's final projects before they were sold for Viviendi, and the game would be cancelled and unreleased a few weeks before its release.. This game was set to release in September of 2001, Sierra however would be shut down in August of 2001, just weeks before release.
The Game was 3d Ultra Minigolf Maniacs , the sequel to 3-d ultra minigolf deluxe.
After the shutdown and all the mergers occurred, we posted the full game on sourceforge at which also included a mod that allowed you to play online using the also released on the site, the server program that you could run on any pc, and added more functionality to the game as well. (sadly no source code though, thats been long lost).
There are no official manuals to go with the game as the only copies of the game out in the wild were beta copies sent to testers. Game information was posted on our sourceforge page, that we no longer update as the game can no longer be updated due to outdated tools.
