How to play Blood & Lace: A Gothic Novel Windows

If you want to play original Italian version of the game on Windows XP or newer OS, be sure to install official patch. Please note that official patch for Italian version probably won't be compatible with other versions.

Also, for all versions of the game - use the attached corrected version of Japotek3d.dll (without it, you will have serious graphics bugs).

The game must be run in compatibility mode with Windows XP or Windows 98/ME. When you start the game, in "Select 3D Device" pick "DX: Direct3D HAL" with 800x600 resolution, any higher bits of the game screen will be cut off. Be sure to put corrected version of Japotek3d.dll in game folder before launch!

Optionally, you can use dgVoodoo 2 to run the game on modern systems with higher resolutions

Why does mobygames mention US release for this game, but there's no english version available anywhere?
