In 1995, Domark Software, Inc., Domark Software Ltd., Sold Out Sales & Marketing Ltd. publishes Championship Manager 2 on DOS. This strategy, simulation and sports game is now abandonware and is set in a managerial and soccer / football (european) themes.

If you get an error when starting the game like 'Stack fault' or any Laserlok protection issue, this site has a fix http://pferrie.epizy.com/misc/dosbox.htm Look under 'Invalid opcode/int 20h/CD port fix for Championship Manager 2 (all versions, all languages)'. Put the CM2FIX.COM included in the zip file into your install directory, and replace CM2.EXE in the go.bat WITH CM2FIX.COM. It should run then.

You have to run the Go.Bat option after installed in dosbox (& run every time) then it won't ask for the CD.

I did the commentary for this game - yes, there was audio commentary, the one and only time in classic Championship Manager. Wasn't too well received though, and most people switched it off. Still, a brilliant game only bettered by the CM3 series, particularly CM01/02. I still love to play that game, being Manchester United of course!

How do you get this downloaded and loaded up on a mac? I'm desperate to play and could really do with a step by step guide, please help!

It would see that the download provided is the Spanish league version.
Also to get it working you need to first run install.exe in dosbox (this will create an install folder in the same folder as the install.exe file) and then follow the instructions to setup the soundcard (I left mine unchanged and it worked fine).
Then follow the instructions and simply type go and hit the enter key.

After downloading this onto Dos Box it keeps saying Error: CD in the drive is not correct
