A colourful and funny game but the parallax-scrolling is ruckling.
Nevertheless a good jump'n run game, in which you play an alien-kid.

Surely an old game like this should be free now.

Back in 1995, my son was around three or four years old and we would get on the computer and I would teach him how to play this game and Duke Nukem! We played every game that Apogee had come up with! But I confess, we found some cheat codes for Duke Nukem so we wouldn't die prematurely! LOL.
I'm 66 years old and I was around 47 at the time and my son was around three or four years old. We could not get enough of these games! LOL
I will leave you with one Hilarious experience. One Saturday morning, my late wife was a by the computer and was looking for some paperwork and thinking about what she was going to do for the day. My son and I had left the Duke Nukem game on but we turned off the screen.
At one point the game uttered this gravely voice of Duke Nukem with a very loud "well, what are you waiting for, Christmas?" As you can imagine, my wife nearly had a heart attack because she thought the computer was actually talking to her! LOL and LMAO! My son happened to be with me and we busted a gut and couldn't stop laughing for some time. The look on my wife's face was something I'll never forget. That was back in 1998 and I remember it like yesterday.
Somebody gave us the cheat codes for Duke Nukem so we would never run out of ammo or the best guns and bombs. One of my favorite sayings that Duke would say was "let God sort them out." There were a few others but I don't care to put them down here. I think you get the gist of it especially those who are diehard Duke Nukem fans.

The downloads over at 3drealms seems to have gone. It does not seem to be possible to buy or download or buy any of the games anymore. This game, COSMO'S COSMIC ADVENTURE is not available anymore. Abandonware again?

if you have the cd use daemon tools to make an iso image of the disk.

Explain how this game is abandonware, when you can go to 3D Realm's site and still purchase the complete game. http://www.3drealms.com/cosmo/

it has been ages, but LtDipstick- I think you are after Monster Bash. Johnny Dash is out to save his dog from Count Chuck. Awesome game :)

cara, esse foi o primeiro jogo que eu joguei na minha vida... no meu primeiro pc, um 586... Muito bom rever a minha infância, não vejo a hora de zerá-lo novamente.

I remember loving this one and a plethera of other games by apogee and the like... I dont know if it was made by the same developer, but assuming it was, does anyone remember an old sidescroller zombie game starring a boy in pajamas that had a slingshot looking for his dog? if so, what was the name?

I remember playing this game on my old desktop when I was a little kid.... Turns out I'd bought the second one before the first one without realizing it. But still, this is an amazing game, and no matter what genre you like, you'll like this too.

Right totu, I changed the game archive

totu 2011-02-23 0 point DOS version

This zip contains "Cosmic Crusader" game, not "Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure"

My sister and I used to fight over playing this game when we were preteens! totally fun game with beautiful graphics. the only thing i don't like is there are no checkpoints in the levels so if you die near the end you have to start all over again!
