I played this for a while on the C64, wasn't a massive fan, but did think it was ok. I did like the 3D isometric graphics at the time.

I used to play this game in the arcade maybe around 1987 or so when I was 10 yrs old when I’d sneak across the “big road” with my friend Jenny on our secret “BR&R” missions (code for Baskin Robbins ice cream and aRcade). I thought this Crystal Castle world was so magical. It was the kind of game that made me think about it with obsessive wonder and I could not wait to go back again to play.

I last played this in 1987, I think! I used to know a cheat that gave you truckloads of points and jumped you to level 70 or something. I’m wondering if I can remember what it was!

I remember it had good music. A bit like Pacman in gameplay. didn't grab me as much as some of the other titles.
