Fun fact: The hugo franchise originally exists for a TV show where Hugo is controlled by the tones inputted by a phone (Back when dialing a number had harsh beep sounds) that gets processed into commands.

And now you know why the games ares so tough. At least until Hugo decided to go into 3D platforming.
