Welp, that was fast. You guys can ignore my comment below.

So my suspicions were correct, the game bugs at 144hz by default. However, you can still play the game at that buttery-smooth framerate by simply disabling the "fullscreen optimisations" when you r-click into the game's properties.

Yeah, it works pretty darn well in Windows 10. Just make sure you run it as an administrator, under the XP SP3 mode, and disable the FS optimisations. You can do all of this in one shot under the properties tab.

Hmm... doesn't seem to work too great in Windows 10, even under different compatibility modes in the properties section (XP SP2/SP3, ME). It installed just fine, along with the addons it requires to run properly (one of those FMV games that requires specific versions of DirectX and QuickTime).

It tends to stutter/skip frames and output sound clicks. I dunno if anybody else has/had these issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I'll try a few more things, such as reverting back to 60hz. I'm wondering if my 144hz refresh rate is creating some of these compatibility issues.

I have been looking for this game forever, I remember playing this game when I was like 8 on my old dell that was like 500 MHz Pentium with 1 GB of ram hope this works!!!!

Great game! Plays good in winxp. Wish there was the first Myst for PC on here for download.
