Description of Patriot

No doubt the most obscure and buggy Three-Sixty game ever made, Patriot is an excellent (and perhaps the only realistic) modern wargame based on the 1991 Gulf War... but only after it's patched to death.

Command the entire Iraqi or US forces as you defend (or attack) various locations in Kuwait and Iraq. As one can expect from Harpoon designers, the realism in this game is excellent: from the sheer number of high-tech missiles to the weather effects, it is hard to find fault with the game engine. The lack of campaign mode and questionable AI unfortunately mar this fun game.

Best way to download and play the game. Download the files from https://archive.org/details/002890-Patriot and extract all files from all three disks to the same directory (eight files and a VESA directory). Start DOSBox (works with version 0.74), mount, go to that directory, and install via the INSTALL.EXE file.

Installed version is 1.00, it has a few bugs that I remember. Playing the Medina and Defend scenarios as the Iraqis crash the game after the coalition has their first kills. I cannot remember which artillery piece has bugs for the coalition. I haven't found it to replicate it.

If anyone knows where we can find the patch files or installation disk, it would be greatly appreciated.

Again abandonware. I'd love to buy it and find all the patches or download here. I used to own this game and boy was it buggy. I never got it to work but I'd love another try.

i had this game, it was long time ago and the problem was too poor PC XT harldy more with 90 MHz processor, not mention RAM supply, so after this, when finally get better stuff and fired this game, i was quite puzzled how to play that? in fact it was not for kids, rather for adults not because parental advisory, but because of topic complexity, and how to command properly, some historical backround it is also welcome

Stupid me, there are instructions included in the game package. Still quit confusing, very complex game it seems.

Might be a good game, wish I had a manual or some kind of instructions on how this game works.
