Little known fact (that often blows people's mind): you can go left! Start at hard/end part and do the game . . . backwards! A lot of fun to challenge your mind to jump on crocodiles in the opposite direction (at least for my then 10-year old brain).

This is the only game I remember playing on my mate's Atari console. Matthew was the only person I knew that had the Atari 2600, consoles were not that really popular as a kid, I had a ColecoVision, my dad had the pong machine, but noone really got into computers till the 8-bit personal computers took off such as the C64 and ZX. I loved Pitfall at the time, found it challenging, the most memorable part of the game was swinging on the Tarzan swings.

Great game, first played it on a friends Atari then madly saved up to buy it for my C64. Played this for hours.

Side note: If you watch the original advert for the game (its on youtube) you will notice a very young (10 year old-ish) Jack Black.
