This was a fun game. Very short though, which lowered a lot of review scores. The C64 version had an excellent loading screen with music that was fantastic, just as it was in the game itself.

Gameplay wise it's split into 2 parts. The first is basically walking up the map, I believe you pick up a PoW along the way from the camp. At the top you get into a helicopter and fly back to the camp, with enemy choppers trying to kill you. In the camp you free the rest of the PoWs and fly back up the map to the friendly base.

It was fun figuring out how to do it all and I got quite fast at completing it consistently. I would recommend checking it out if only for the music as it was fantastic for the time.

Loved this game in the 80's. Spent many an hour repeatedly playing only to be defeated at the final stage in the helicopter battle trying to fly back to base. That was until someone at school figured out a cheat where you plug in joystick 2 and push one joystick forward and one backward making your helicopter fly at rocket speed to the base. That's probably not going to work on an emulator.
