Description of Snap Dragon

SnapDragon is a good collection of open-ended activities that facilitate early larning for toddlers/preschoolers. Friendly Snap Dragon and his pal Teddy will escort your child on a tour of exciting, animated places. Sleep under the stars. Have fun on a farm. Explore outer space. There are no right or wrong answers, no words to read and no points to earn. The game focuses on creative learning and fun, with bright, attractive VGA graphics. The game helps develop early-learning skills for math, science and reading. Your child will learn to arrange animals, toys and shapes by size, use, color and more, then photograph animated scenes and create his or her own on-screen photo album. One of the best activities is the electronic coloring book, which can be printed out on paper. Every scene is full of animating characters and objects to interact with, similar to The Manhole.

Overall, a fun electronic toybox that will teach your children a lot of skills while they are having fun. Thumbs up!

Ah, the joys of Snap Dragon... I honestly thought Snap Dragon was a girl when I played this as a kid because, eyelashes, but (insert sheepish laugh). I just LOVE the storybook potential of this game and you get to colour twelve different scenes! A definite A+ for me!

I remember this game from the days of the Apple's System 7! I sure wish we had a Macintosh version of this game here too because all I remembered until I came here was the intro! It works so nicely and even has storybook potential! 5 hearts because:
1. Nostalgia
2. Learning curve (sorting, surprises, and colouring)
3. Catchy theme song :) I wonder if it has lyrics?
All in all, a GREAT game for youngsters and youngsters at heart because, no room for frustration over not achieving the score you want... everyone wins!

I've remember playing this game on an iMac G3 back when I was in Elementary School and now I needed the Mac Version of this game. :/
