Description of Super Solvers: Treasure Mountain!

Treasure Mountain is a fun educational adventure in the successful "Super Solvers" series from The Learning Company. It is also the first in "Treasure" sub-series that had a few more games.

Designed for kids ages 5 to 9, children will be captivated by the game's vibrant graphics, fun gameplay that combines platform action with math problems, and excellent on-line help. They will spend many hours solving puzzles, doing math problems and looking for hidden treasures-- sharpening their math skills without realizing it :) The goal of the game is to get up to the top of the mountain, collecting treasures along the way.

The game's overall theme is very similar to the other "Treasure" titles, but the specific activities, problems and graphics are different. A must-have for all parents looking for a nice, introductory-level algebra title for their kids. Thumbs up!

OK looking at the screenshots alone brought back memories of my childhood. I remember this vividly. I will be downloading this and Gizmos and Gadgets for my 4 year old! This entire site is like a time capsule of my childhood, bringing back memories my Amstrad Pc1512 8086 days lol.

This was definitely one of the first computer games I ever played. It is elegant in its simplicity.

For those of you who think this game is a slog, I'm going to brag and say I've finished the whole thing in just a few hours. Doing the math, assuming you find all the treasures every time you go up the mountain, you only have to ascend to the top 29 times to fill the chest. One ascent isn't difficult and it doesn't take a long time, but on the higher levels it does get a little trickier with elf dust stealing coins, plank bridges that break and the Master of Mischief shoving you off the ladders.

One fun thing I noticed is that you can play with the toy treasures after you've earned them. Some of the toys don't do anything by themselves, but will do something special if you have a second complementary toy. If you keep earning treasures, the game will eventually give you duplicates.

Loved played this game when I was a kid. The music towards the end (climbing up the final ladder) each time kinda scared me. This game is so repetitive though, an absolute slog to complete (if at all possible).

This was one of the first video games I ever played...I now design video games...This game has A LOT to do with my passion for games. Learning and fun in one experience. So today I do just that, I design and produce development of video games for learning. Ramthor's Tower: Maze Defense is the name of the game, designed by N-1 Games, which is the gaming branch of Conscious Dimensions, LLC.

This game doesn't seem to work for me. I used a DosBox to play it. It loads up a blue screen that says "please enter disk 1". Press enter to continue. I press enter but nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated.

Pretending to have compy knowledge fail.

Wizgah 2012-05-14 -1 point DOS version

Girl, this is a rar archive, you need to download and install a free programm called WinRAR to extract the files on your computer, then go to the site DOSbox in order to make the game work with recent computers.
