This was such a great game. Remember when you had a dying mech and you sent another one to drop the string of communications power battery towers and they came online one by one and the mech would come back to life??! I get giddy just thinking about it.

The best thing was the Humanoid plasma seeker could be fired dumb... and you could stay out of the range of Alien Scorpions/Scouts/Humanoids and fire at them straight on from beyond the radar range... So, I'd get them into just outside sensor range on my viewer, fire a dozen or dozen in a straight line, then when they would come after me, start backing up slowly, laying on fire... great stuff...

Wow... When I was a kid, this was the most awesome game ever. Couldn't beat the feeling of ramming a scorpion tail missle down the throat of an enemy scout. Seems a bit boring these days now.

Got this on a game collection CD when I was a kid. One of my favorite games ever. Don't listen to the haters, this was far better than mech warrior ever was.

It's DROSS! How the hell this has achieved "4.8 out of 5" (a rating of 96%) so far is BEYOND ALL KEN! I've voted it 1. Still at 4.45 out of 5..... this should be rock bottom. C'mon VOTE IT ONE NOW!

I actually beat this game the very first time I played it back in 1994. Kind of disappointed me. Was not so lucky to beat it every time after. Ultrabots had a few problems. Not a great designed game. But still lots of fun for some reason. I bought it because the cover art was the most awesome of any game at the time. Soon Mechwarrior and Earthsiege would come out and this game was forgotten. Great nostalgia however.
