Wasted Dreams is an isometric action game with elements of adventure and puzzle. You can play it in singleplayer by controlling two main heroes, or play it in local coop when each player controls one of characters.

The story takes place in the middle of the 21st century, when the Earth is dying due to poverty, crime and violence; the nature of the planet is in critical condition. In these conditions, the last civilized countries unite for a great mission: to find a new home for humanity. Five hundred people - scientists, researchers and soldiers - are sent into the depths of space on the newest interstellar spacecraft "Explorer".

After 9 months of searching, the team finds a planet suitable for life. The new planet was named Aguilera and explorers began to actively develop new home. It was decided to build a base and send the spaceship back to Earth for a new batch of colonists. For the flight back, 100 people were selected, among them our main characters Johansson and Harper. But something went wrong and the spaceship exploded almost immediately after launch and crashed in the depths of the jungle of Aguilera. Only Johansson and Harper were able to survive on the rescue pod, and now they need to go through the inhospitable jungle of an unfamiliar planet and find a way back to their base
