There is no WSOP32 folder in the CD-ROM or any rips on this page. Can you provide a link to the CD-ROM download that had this folder?

Okay, here's how to get this game 100% running with no virtual machine on Windows 10. If you don't care about Video Poker, Let it Ride, and Carribean Stud poker, you can ignore this and run from the CD. (those are the only games that are broken from running from the CD)

But, if you do want to get these working:

1. Create a folder to install the game to.

2. Open up the CD-ROM in Windows

3. Copy the following files from the CD, to your newly created install folder on your hard drive. (Some files have the same names with different extensions so be careful you get one with the right extension.)

- All .FNT files (9)
- All .CHR files (2)
- All .VPM files (3)
- JB001MR.OBL
- VLSOUND.OBL
- VPSOUND.OBL
- LIR001MR.VLM
- TABLE.CRL
- WSOPDELX.WRI

3. Copy the following folders from the CD, by dragging and dropping the folder icon to your install folder. Afterwards, you should have 3 folders in your install folder.

- MUSIC
- SFX
- TEST

4. Finally, copy the CONTENTS OF the cd folder WSOP32 to your install directory. Don't copy the folder icon, copy the files inside the folder.

5. Now that you are done, your install folder should have 27 items: 24 files and 3 folders.

6. You are done! Run WSOPDELX.EXE from your install folder to run the game on Windows 10. You can create a shortcut to this EXE if desired.

Another note - I've found that if the game is run from the CD like I mentioned in the last post, Video Poker, Let It Ride, and Carribean Stud Poker don't work. The game seems to need to be installed to the hard drive for these casino games to work.

But, it is possible to get these games working on Windows 10: By installing the game on a 32 bit Windows virtual machine, the installation files in C:\Masque can be copied over to a newer version of Windows, and then all casino games should work. (run the game from the EXE in the installation files)

By the way, this game installer appears to be for 16 bit Windows (making it incompatible with modern Windows), but you don't need to install it. There is a 32 bit EXE you can run off the CD in Windows 10, etc. It's located on the CD at WSOP32/WSOPDELX.EXE. You may need to right click on that EXE file on the CD, choose "Properties", and set it to Windows 95 compatibility mode to avoid freezes. (The magic show was freezing on me if I didn't do this.)

This one was a pleasant surprise! I was expecting some multimedia-glitz promotional vehicle for World Series of Poker. And this game is anything but that! Having a goal and somewhat of a story made it a lot more engaging to play. The gameplay itself is smoothly paced and the option to hold the mouse button to accelerate play was welcome. Unlike when this game came out, Texas Hold 'em should now familiar to many, many players. Not bad for a Windows 3.1 casino/card game!
