Description of Populous
Populous (aka ポピュラス, ポピュラス外伝) is a video game published in 1989 on DOS by Electronic Arts, Inc.. It's a strategy game, set in a managerial, real-time and rts themes, and was also released on Acorn 32-bit, Amiga, Atari ST, Genesis, SEGA Master System, Sharp X68000 and TurboGrafx-16.

The game seems to work, but it asks for a password, I can not get past the password. I guess I will try POP.BAT as someone suggested. But I don't know why that would bypass a password. I am on a Mac using Boxer.

For those who cannot get the program running:
Open the POP.BAT file, not POPULOUS.EXE.

As another poster has mentioned, I can only run the keyboard editor, but not the POPULOUS.EXE file with DOSBox. Also, this game is currently on GOG, is this correlated?

I couldn't get it to work in DOSbox... They keyboard setup program works, but not the populous.exe ...
