How to play Bubble Bobble Nostalgie Gold Edition Windows

The game doesn't work on Windows 7 or newer OS correctly, use dgVoodoo utility to play the game on modern systems (copy dll-files from MS/x86 folder & dgVoodoo.conf and dgVoodooCpl.exe in the game directory, then launch dgVoodooCpl and set the settings like in these examples: example 1, example 2). Also, run the game in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP3 and as administrator

Wow.... I have no idea how that happened. I lost this game ~15 years ago but now I found it here and I saw my high scores from years ago... What a surprise :D

I have done following istructions and it worked

Paste into the game folder
dgVoodoo.conf and dgVoodooCpl and all fourfiles from x86

in dg Voodoo set in the directx tab vRAM 1024MB and mark Force Vsync - under Miscellaneous.
In the General tab, select Apperance Stretched

I follow the instructions about dgVoodoo, and at the start of the game on main menu it seems all good, but when I start playing it doesn't work, the screen scrolls jerkily and very slowly
