Just found a site with free download. Very well done. Uses dosbox correctly. Game plays like in good old command line dos.

01/27/24 I have been tinkering with this game in Dosbox (Windows 10). Opening credits and video run but are a bit pixelated. Best viewed in window mode. The game itself run very well and clean. Sterio sounds are clean. Only issue is audio crackling some. No codecs per VLC. Videos are really cool. Best chess game I've ever seen. Best method is copying both disks to HD, create batch file to mount each as separate cd drive, then cd to directory and run. I could help better, but need contact info to send screenshots and method.

I bought this game in the 90's and it won't run on anything other than the dos that comes with windows 3.1. Then..... if you try to run it on a different version like dosbox or freedos... it recognizes that and refuses to run on purpose.
It was a really cool game though like battle chess except that instead of an animation, there was a little movie showing the battle and there were more than one shot for each capture. There were also different opening books including a huge one that says you may never win another game again.
