This is one of the original text based games that started it all. Along with Zork and the one that did start them all on college mainframes circa 1976, Adventure aka Colossal Cave Adventure. Not too difficult has hints built in; leaves you feeling smart and as if you visited somewhere fun. Give it a try or play it online at ifiction.org under Scott Adams aka Adventure International Games
