The game requires QuickTime 6 or newer for the correct work, the installer is available on the disc. The game doesn't have any serious DRM-protection, only the simple disc check, but CD image must be mounted in virtual drive in order to launch the game
If the game doesn't start - try to run the game in compatibility mode with old Windows OS, like Windows 95, 98, XP, etc. If the game doesn't start in any compatibility mode - try to run through dgVoodoo 2, that way the game should work fine
