One of the best football manager games ever. 16bit, text-only, but it sucks you right in.
Here is how I play: Set formation to 4-3-3 while keeping midfielders and strikers in the middle. Change tactics to "Direct Ball". Always avoid "Withdrawn" coaching staff, as they will make cratin players unhappy.
If you're like me and prefer playing in the lower leagues and working your way up, look up Mick Tait who plays for Hartlepool. You'll get him for under £4,000 and is a great all-round midfielder. Paul Adcock from Plymouth is another great player who should cost no more than £30,000.

My entry in the Championship Manager series. In my youth, I've spent hours at a time with any of the versions. Even as an adult, I bought FM2015 and even FM2021. But barely play it. But CM93/94, that's where it all started.

Whose idea was it to patch the game so the following happens?
1) Vidiprinter shows up regardless of whether you select the option to turn ON or OFF the Printer when opening a Saved Game? I am now wasting 30 seconds having to watch other results of no interest before the classified scores appear!
