I love this game so much. It ever so brings me joy. I have encountered the same error that the laddie @DEMONBBY1 described on my Microsoft Windows XP machine. It brought be great pain, but fret not. There is a solution. I have downloaded a patch from the lads at Sherlock Software and it is called "PetzA". That patch is located at https://sherlocksoftware.org/page.php?id=7 . For Dogz3, I downloaded the petz3.zip file (since I have not been able to get the automated setup to work for myself). In it, there is a patched Petz3.exe. If you politely replace C:\Program Files\PF.Magic\Petz 3\petz3.exe with the patched petz3.exe in the executable it should work, by George! The patched file is clean on VirusTotal, but I would recommend you checking for yourself before running it. I can't wait to pet my little furry virtual friends in this vast world we call Dogz 3. It delights me ever so much and has brought me such joy when I was just a babe.
