Description of European Air War
European Air War (aka EAW) is a video game published in 1998 on Windows by MicroProse Software, Inc., Hasbro Interactive, Inc., Infogrames Interactive, Inc., Atari Interactive, Inc., Tommo Inc.. It's a simulation game, set in a flight, historical battle (specific/exact), world war ii, vehicular combat simulator and regional differences themes.

This is one heavily modded game! And that's a good thing a very good thing. There used to be websites dedicated to this game. Now there's only av sim sites such as Sim HQ moddb.com are just 2. Several years you could download dozens a total mods which changed everything. Half the fun of mods is finding them, then playing them.

I had the original EAW and loved it.
Each episode had a beginning and end unlike some of the more modern air combat games.
Also the pilot had logical promotions in rank.

You should to use unofficial patch 1.28 + nGlide. On my Win7 and Win10 it works fine.

Nostalgia! Thanks for the game. However I do have one problem:
I have installed the game. I tried running it but then it says I need a disc to play EAW. Can someone please help me? Thanks!

Windows 10 is unable to mount the img file saying it is corrupted. Don't know if thats true or not
