Way back when the A500 came out, I was a proud owner of a C128.
When I saw F/A-18 Interceptor running as a demo in an electrical store, I bought my first A500 and this amazing game immediately!
Real life faded into the background after that, lol! :o)

I loved this game so much, I decided to make a replica - its not an exact replica, but its made as a homage to this awesome game. Hope people like it :)

Best flight simulator on Amiga 500. Played the Multiplayer with my neighbor. A lot of fun and best control compared to other simulators...Figher Bomber was terrible for example.

My first flight sim and I think my favourite. Pretty simple, but I found you could actually dog fight somewhat with the other planes and trying to get a full missile lock was pretty fun. Other flight sims afterwards seem to have you just pointing and shooting your missile or forever dodging sam's. I'm ashamed to say I also made my own key wheel.

together with sublogic flight simulator and this one F18 intercepter THE forefathers of nowadays flightsim world this is where it ALL started with in the late 80ies
it was a GREAT time fliying for the first time real time in simulation in missions and in a tiny inimini scenerie surounding of only a few bits and bytes.
these days everyone HAS TO be very sparse with the given data space to program or perform in. it layed down the very fundament of nowadays simflying.
still remember long nights of mission flying until the mornings when finally everything was carried out perfectly and went to bed VERY satisfyed.
try it it is and was GREAT.

incredible game - shooting other aircrafts so easy (always just a dot, firing a missile 2 dots.. - but when finally ramming the ejected enemy in midair I guess theyd loved to add even some blood here^ just lovely), but landings so damn hard.
Especially when u eveb need to catch one of the 4 breaking ropes.
Kill the enemy with machinegun, no problem - but carrier landings are nightmare.. ;)

I think this game was the game I played the most on my Amiga with my trusty £9 stick. I couldnt afford a legit version so had to make my own version of the key wheel. Loved this game.
