I have a problem in America's 10 most wanted when I installed game, click on icon error in please put correct cd/dvd
But copy paste FMV_pc in my folder game and use crack, when I click on icon crash on start-up

for these not in the know, some files from cd's were never meant to leave the cd because the game requires the cd to play still (yes you may be able to do a full install of a game disc but alot of the times this might not include cut-scenes or audio ect... really just depends. so conclusion always check the cd while mounted for FMVs and such and check if they are in the game directory once installed.

This does not launch on Windows 10 and later. For patch, a file "FMV_PC" is missing, copy it to the installed game directory.

I would enjoy it on pc if hand-to-hand combat wasn't too hard. It was not like that on ps2 version.

FOR PEOPLE HAVING LOW FPS:

Guys I am an idiot. Apparently, this dumpster fire of a game has low fps when you go into widescreen. Yea, I don't know why. Sorry for saying in my previous post that it was due to the game's one cpu requirement, turns out the game's developers weren't able to code their game to have proper widescreen. As a result, the only solution is to play it at lower resolutions. Generally, the game had good fps on like 640x480 but test other resolutions to see if they have good fps. If not, just put it at 640x480 and play the game like normal. PS: (Holy hell is the mouse accerlation crazily stupid in this game)

This is a guide to anyone trying to play this garbage and a guide for Jarekthegaming dragon if he ever makes a video of this game. I will be stating some of the problems I faced and how I fixed them.

Problem #1. Game is not opening (even if you successfully copied the No-CD crack, from the download link)

Fix: Apparently, you have to copy the "FMV_PC" folder from the America 10 Most Wanted ISO to the game directory for the no-cd crack to work. Kinda stupid why the setup doesn't install those FMVs but whatever. For people who are wondering where I pasted the FMV_PC in the game directory, I did not paste it into EFS_PC or MAKE. So just paste it normally into the game directory. Then the game should start running.

Problem #2 Game has a low resolution
To fix this problem, I used dgvoodoo 2 to get my preferred resolution which is 1366x768. This game also comes with a config.exe which can be found in the MAKE folder but it didn't seem to work for me. To use dgvoodoo 2, watch this video here: https://youtu.be/fZDHgmK5VmE?t=20

Problem #3 Game runs at like 1 FPS
When I got my game running, I immediately tested out the gameplay. However, all I got was a stuttery mess of a game. I realized that the problem must be due to how old the game is. Older games they can't handle modern multi-core cpu's very well and this game is an example of this. As a result, we have to force the game application to utilize only 1 core. To do this, open the game and alt-tab out of there. You have to keep the game running in the background for this to work. Then go to task manager and click the Details tab (in between users and services). Now find A10MV with the icon of an American flag and right click it. Then click "set affinity". Then deselect all the cpu cores and select only one cpu. You can choose anything CPU 0, CPU 1, etc. I myself picked CPU 1. Once that is done, alt-tab back into the game and it should be running at a playable framerate. The only downside to this is that everytime you close the game and then reopen the game, you need to repeat all those steps.
