Description of I Spy: Spooky Mansion
Here is the video game “I Spy: Spooky Mansion”! Released in 1999 on Windows, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's an educational and puzzle game, set in a horror, math / logic, reading / writing, licensed title, haunted house, hidden object and mini-games themes and it was released on Mac as well.

to those asking how to get it running it wont work on modern windows youll have to use whats called a Virtual Machine and install it on that.

to make it run you have to use an app like poweriso to make your computer think its running an actual disk instead of a file once you mount the 'disk' through the app you have to run the setup exe through winevdm on github and set compatibility mode to windows 95/98 and 640x480 screen resolution! took a while to figure it out but it works now!

kind of dumb to even have this up but meh.
i guess one day when i get an old windows XP computer or something for 50% from a church item swap or some crap i'll be able to play these old games

man i use to paly this and MANY more. now that i have a 4.5 year old i want him to experience the retro god-tier era of gaming before mainstream caught wind of it. when "nerds" play video games lmao.
good times. and i genuinely contribute much of my intelligence to early exposure of video games (pretty sure jordan peterson has said something about this being well known in the psychological profession) but you have to be careful...video games almost ruined my life as corn as that might sound. I agree with china when they say video games are spiritual opium and should be banned.
