So, this is the first time i comment here on myabandonware as a whole, as for myself i'm greatful that this site exists to the preservation of older games, but i'm really disapointed this time because, the version of this game is not described in this site, is it the gamer's edition or the original signature edition? Does anyone know how to fix the mouse sensitivity, I have it turned up to the max but its takes me several swipes to do a 360, plus looking left and right is faster that up and down, I tired connecting a PlayStation controller but the look joystick is all wrong, left looks up right looks left etc please help

i cannot move the pillar on the first kong level, i have tried changing the refresh rate and resolution but noting, i also have a bit of cramp in my right middle finger from clicking so rapidly so if there is a fix for this it would be amazing if you could?

Unable to change keybinds. Pretty depressing. Wanted to finish some games I never finished as a kid, this was my first one. It crashes on my Xbox, and I'm playing these old games to get away from mouse and keyboard because that input system depresses me and reminds me I have wasted my entire childhood and adulthood on PC gaming. A bit ironic, right?

I currently am unable to get past the Kong level, after you beat the bat and go to move the pillar beam, my kong doesnt move it he just sits there holding it, i spam right click like it said and nothing, i changed the keys around and still no action.

Nevermind, it seems that solution is for the standard edition of King Kong, not the 5.0 GB gamer edition. It says on PCGamingWiki that you need to try to move in a zig-zag sort of way to get out of the water. Weird that this happens in both versions, yet there are different solutions to the same problem.

Dear Wallhelp: I don't know why people are downvoting your comment because I have the exact same problem lol. Anyway, I think I have found a solutuion. According to the site PCGamingWiki, the solution is to enter in settings (at the game launcher) and select "DirectX 9.0" and 60Hz refresh rate. It seems that game needs to be capped to 60 fps or the physics go wild. Hope this tip helps others as well.

Stuck in the chapter "the wall" I can not pass the first step when we are in the water while Ann is opening the gate. I checked old gameplay on YouTube and I should be able to go through very easily... I uninstalled and installed the game and the bug is still there. Any solution ?

I can't progress on the mission "the wall". Right at the end of the mission there is an invisible wall in the first set of water where Ann opens the gate leading towards the huge wall. Another bug to note is the insanely speedy bats. Not sure what I can do to fix

Stuck on level Skull Islanders. Kong won't move pillar. I mash the buttons, ran game on high and low graphics and nothing works. It basically ruins half the game because I cannot progress.

So running the game at 60fps fixes most issues, making the game run smoothly! Currently the game is crashing on one level where Kong descends from a waterfall, so I will try and run it at 40fps as RODIONRASKOLJNIKOV suggests

This here is the gamer's edition, it's an xBox port which dont run better than the original edition
the original edition has a drm so it dont work in windows 11 but theres a crack that disables the drm.

when you get to the end of Skull islanders mission the pillar that is blocking the way of the V-rex it can not be lifted I've deleted my save and restarted the game to fix the problem but no good I'm trying to quit the game without saving after the log and see if that fixes it

with the widescreen fix does anyone know if there is a way to re-enable vsync or at least get rid of the screen tearing? it fixes the game but then adds horrible tearing so. Win-lose.

The Siguature Edition all Ok. bus the Gamers have stuttering.
