UPDATE: I've figured out a good way to play this game and it's been fun. It's definitely only playable on controllers and has issues with triggers and such on xbox controllers as far as I know. Here's my setup:
up/down/left/right - left stick (you have to select the input to change, then select the axis from the gamepad axis menu and hit assign)
right stick - item up/down/left/right
a - jump
b - sneak
x - strike
y - look, hold to look around
r1/2 - crouch, can't put it in triggers
r1/2 can be assigned to look left/right but then crouch attacks can be a hassle.
start - pause
l stick down - toggle item
leave the left/right look and run for now.

I'm only at the 3rd stage. So this will help for people who want a little less hassle.

For those who hae issues running this game. There are no no-cd cracks included so you need something like windemu to run it. Mount the first disc using wincdemu or alchohol 120% and go to the WIN folder in it for the English installer. Then you have to mount the second disc (the PlayDisc) to make it work, otherwise it'll throw a no-cd error. As far as I have played it, the controls are horrible. Game looks fun but there's no mouse control, xbox360 controller has issues as well. It's an old port, expect to do a lot of tweaks to make it work.

There is a "win" folder inside the first iso that have the installer in english.
