How to play SAS: Secure Tomorrow Windows
The game has been tested on Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 10, it works fine, the game supports widescreen and high resolutions up to 4k. You may experience some small troubles when you play the game on modern systems, check our Notes for details
Notes:
- If the installation doesn't start - try to launch Setup.exe in compatibility mode with old version of Windows (98, 2000 or XP)
- It is recommended to install all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and NET Framework for the correct work of the game. Also it is recommended to install K-Lite Codec Pack for the correct work of in-game videos
- The game works on DirectX 9, so if you're using Windows 8, 8.1, 10 or 11 - you need to enable DirectPlay: Go to Control Panel, and select 'Programs'. Select 'Turn Windows features on and off', click on 'Legacy Components' and check the box 'DirectPlay'. Select OK, once the installation is done, restart your computer
- The game doesn't have any DRM protection, only the simple disc check, use NoCD to remove disc check. Some versions are DRM-Free, you don't need to use NoCD for it, simply install & play. If the game doesn't work - try to launch it in compatibility mode with old version of Windows (Windows 98 or XP) and as administrator (right click on game.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility)
- The game support widescreen resolutions up to 4k, and can be launched even on ultra-widescreen or multi-monitor setup. If you want to change FOV (Field of View), follow this guide. If you want to run the game in Windowed mode, run it with
+windowed 1
command line argument - If the settings of the game or key bindings reset to default when you restart the game - always run the game as administrator
- Some device configurations (usually USB devices) can make the game hang at startup showing a black screen. If you have black screen at launch - patch the game with SASST Fix, check this guide for details
- If you have problem with broken sound effects or disappearing sound - first try to change the sound settings. If it didn't work - set sound quality to 24 bit, 48000 Hz or 24 bit, 44100 Hz. Read this guide how to do that
- The game loads longer on Windows Vista and Windows 7 systems, because of Windows Aero interface. There's no solution for that, however, the game itself works fine on that systems

OMG Fantastic game. In this game, when I kill my enemies while shooting, I like to see the smoke coming out of the gun falling to the ground. Sometimes the gun jams, which increases the realism.

Worked perfectly on the English DRM-Free Setup.
I had a few chuckles, not the least because, like one of the bad guys, I am Bulgarian.
Never met anyone called Zaryan, but we DID have an Olympic Champion named Armen NaZARYAN, who was of Armenian descent.
On the lowest difficulty, managed to beat it in around 2 and a half hours, died twice.
Not a bad game, thanks for the upload.

The game is pretty solid and worked perfectly on my windows 11 ultrawide setup, however I ran into a guaranteed crash on mission 7 that there doesn't seem to be a way past unless the game received a patch at some point.
