Description of Soul Crystal
Soul Crystal is one of the better German text adventures, with a fun and interesting story, a fairly good parser, and a mouse-driven interface.
The plot sounds as if it were inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland: you are a lad named Dave, spending your holidays alone in a hotel near a mysterious loch in Scotland. You go swimming in the lake and dive through a waterfall - on the other side of it, you're finding yourself in a strange fantasy-like world.
The game is very nicely presented with excellent music and (small) graphics. Probably one of the last commercial games of its kind.

@KC ,.sure we have german words for "Soul Crystal" "Seelen Kristall" ,.but it sounds better in english..btw..cause of your "wtf",..is it forbidden to use english words in german games? or vice versa?

The German's don't have a word for "soul" or "crystal", they have to use English names?

Sounds more like Fantasy Island than Alice in Wonderland to me. ;-)
I do own the game but guess i never really played it. Maybe i should?

For those who would like to play the C64 version.
- The "Amiga hand with the disk" meaning insert Disk A Side 2 into the Drive.
- The fact that the images flicker in the intro is due to the Hz-Number set in the emulator.
Don't worry, the game itself doesn't flicker.
Für diejenigen die gern die C64-Fassung spielen wollen.
- Die "Amigahand mit der Disk" gilt hier als Aufforderung von Diskette A die zweite Seite einzulegen.
- Das die Bilder im Intro flackern, liegt an der im Emulator eingestellte Hz-Zahl.
