Since this game seems to be getting traction, i'm gonna link my tool that saves the registry (to properly play on W10 and up). You can find it at https://www.reddit.com/r/tamagotchi/comments/1ip1fn3/tools_for_saving_and_loading_tamagotchi_cdrom/
Info on the Care Center -
The Care Center will only tend to 85% of your pet's calls, and every 24 hours the percent decreases by 5%. After 72 hours, it will kick your Tamagotchi out of the Care Center.
The Care Center will also discipline your pet - which is either great or detrimental depending on your desired outcome.
The Care Center will not treat sickness immediately - it gives you time to treat them yourself, but if you do not take your pet out of the Center to treat them, the Care Center will treat your pet themselves.
Use the Care Center sparingly, and if you need to, use the Care Center throughout the night to fit your sleep schedule better.
Info on Sicknesses and Hearts -
Occasionally you will find that your pet has become ill - naturally once during each phase of their life. Your pet can become ill while in the Care Center, though it's almost always natural.
When you first hatch an egg, your baby will get sick once, though it's hardcoded in it's initial routine (drop a few poops, snooze for an hour, get sick, drop a few more poops and evolve)
When it becomes ill as a child or teenager, do not fear either. It's an indicator that its evolution is due in a day. Just give your pet medicine and hope for the best.
If it becomes ill while it's an adult, you should fear slightly. Every natural illness an adult has means it's gonna start dropping hearts more often - during the final 6 hours of your pet's stay on Earth it'll be dropping up to every 2 minutes.
Wether or not the illness is natural, you must give them medicine quickly. If you do not treat them in time, they will leave Earth early. (This can even happen with babys!)
Info on your pet's time on Earth -
Every character has a cap for their time on Earth - with the highest normal characters being Mametchi and Mimitchi with up to 19 days on Earth, and the 2 secret characters, Bill and Zatchi living up to 22 days.
As said, your pet can leave early due to prolonged illness, but they can also choose to leave because of poor care.
Info on Discipline -
During each phase of your pet's life, beginning from the child phase, your pet will make up to 4 discipline calls, or less if they started the phase with 50% of discipline or more.
Discipline is key to getting the character you want - the perfect care characters can only be obtained with 100% discipline, the better care characters can only be obtained with 50% and above. Average and below characters can be obtained with 0% discipline.
Secret characters -
You can get secret characters with the regular care characters, Masktchi and Pochitchi, but they must start out with 0% discipline.
To get the secret characters, you must care for your pet normally, but you must NEVER discipline it. Just care for them perfectly, until you get a Masktchi or Pochitchi (Pochitchi and Zuccitchi swapped places) with 0% discipline and from then on you can care for them normally including discipline calls and they will evolve to their respective secret character within 4 days.

Tips -
To fill up your pet's happiness faster, play the Left-Right game and mash left, right and space. You can also skip animations using it.
If you're playing on a VM, you can skip time to make your pets evolve faster. You must know that if you want to skip days at a time, you must leave your pet in the Care Center. Unless you like seeing up to 8 droppings and having several care mistakes.
