How do I download the english patch? and did you get the iso version from this website? This is my first time utilizing ISO

I found a strange way to install but no backgroud muisc.
1.Download UltraISO(u have to search by yourself, any version is ok), Tsukihime ISO version, English translatioon patch v1.1
2.Unzip the ISO version.zip and use UltraISO to open Tsuki Hime.img in it.
3.Extract the files in Tsuki Hime.img to any folder on your computer. Then you can find the file "arc.sar"in it. For example: D:\XXXX\XXXX\Tsukihime_Win_JA_ISO-Version\TSUKIH~1\ARC.SAR
4.Open the English Patch v1.1, and follow the instructions it gives u. Choose your destination folder, then, the most important, choose the ARC.SAR u found in step 3
5.Open the folder where the game was installed. There is a readme.txt.It will tell u how to apply backgroud music to the game

I believe that the arc.sar file can be found for the english patch when you mount Tsukihime iso file it should be in there
Justsomeguy 2021-02-15 1 point
So for those of you having trouble with the arc.sar thing for the english patch, the arc.sar file is in tsukihime(the disk). Click on the Tsukihime file in BD-ROM Drive(G:) TSUKIHIME (or wherever you have it) and it should be in there.

I'm trying to use WinCDEmu to install the game, but I don't know if it works or not after trying, and I don't know what I should put down for disc types and such. Can someone tell me if this even works and how to use it? I don't want to use Alcohol 52% because a lot of newer versions come with spyware.

I have read a lot of visual novels, this is the best visual novel I have ever read. Must read it! ( Akiha, Hisui and Kohaku best girl! )

I'm having a problem with specifying the location of arc. sar. What am I suppose to do?
Icely 2020-07-29 0 point
Can confirm, Alcohol 52% works and this comment section is the only place on the internet that tells you how to get this game to work that doesn't involve buying it. Thanks guys.

So just what the other user recommended, using Alcohol 52% works. Make sure you get the latest update otherwise it might not be possible to create virtual drives to run the disk file. Second; in alcohol mount the clone CD image file onto the virtual drive and right click the virtual drive to open the file explorer for what you have mounted. And then you will be able to locate the installer. But before you try to install the game, download and install "Locale Emulator" so you can run the game in Japanese. Otherwise the installer will come out with broken text and not work. When you have that set up and running, you should finally be able to install the game and then use the English Translation patch file.

Opening .ccd file is quite a hassle lol the "official" Virtual Clone Drive that's written exactly to open these files by the *makers* of the format just refused to work for me. Maybe it's my windows, maybe it's me, idk. I can't be hassled to get MagicDisc to work through the hops and skips--I *would've*, but only after I exhausted other options. LUCKILY tho Alcohol 52% worked perfectly to mount it. I tried building ISO out of the files but the two program I tried just skips out anything with Japanese characters on the title, so I guess the use of ccd+img+sub is kinda justified.
