Steam no longer has this game available to buy, pretty sure it's not available to buy on GOG site either. So again it's abandonware, might want to change this.

This game is abandonware. No online store has it listed to sell anymore, GOG included. Please upload this game so I can relive my childhood once more.

If you have a key you can download a one click installer for the community edition that is fully patched and ready to go after installation.

[If you get a firewall notifiaction and you already allowed the game thru you firewall just fill in something in the player stats account in the menu. This will bypass the notification. There are still plenty of servers and players online to choose from. ]

Companies like Epic Games, Sony, Microsoft, EA and Ubisoft who try to remove ownership of games by delisting games or straight up revoking licenses of purchased games are the reason why piracy is a thing.
All companies complain that piracy is theft and destroying the economy and so on, yet those companies do everything in their power to make piracy the only option to actually own something since even if you pay full price for a game, the company still somehow reserves the right to take that game away from you at any time without a refund.
This is a direct message to all CEOs and entrepreneurs worldwide: If paying isn't owning, piracy isn't theft!

Uh, hello??!! Myabandonware.com Administrator!!! Update this page already. Both Steam and GOG links are dead! Or is myabandonware.com becoming abandoned now too?! Would be actually funny and ironical ngl but dear god please no!!! Update already!!!
Tekara 2024-01-24 11 points
no more legal ways to purchase this game anymore and it will take almost a century before this game becomes public domain and can be legally distributed again. and companies wonder why piracy exists. the golden times of epic games are over. they've lived long enough to become the evil. i'm not even mad, just disappointed. smh

GOG and Steam both delisted UT2004... The only way to get it is piracy now! This sucks! I hate piracy but I hate Epic Games even more for not giving me a legal method to enjoy my childhood games again!!!

Where can we get this game? No longer at sale and websites just link to non-working sale links.
The Man 2022-12-26 14 points
I own the Unreal games on Steam from before they were delisted. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does but is there a way to upload them onto this site?
The Man 2022-12-25 8 points
We need to get this game, and the rest of the Unreal series on MyAbandonware as soon as possible. They've been delisted from Steam and GOG. Unreal Tournament 3 may or may not become free-to-play, but the other ones most likely won't share that fate.
