Download Wings of War (Windows)

DVD-version contains 4 installers for 4 different languages (English, French, German, Italian). If you need only English version, download Setup. If you're playing Russian version, do not install patch 1.2, the content of that patch is already included in Russian version.

Patch and NoCD compatible with all languages.

The game with patch 1.2 and NoCD has been tested on Windows 7 64-bit, works with no problem. The game supports widescreen

Install & play guide (for DVD and CD versions):

• Mount the disc image. You will need the utility for mounting disc image files, like WinCDEmu, UltraISO, Alcohol 52%/Alcohol 102% or Daemon Tools Lite
• Install the game
• Install the patch 1.2
• Optionally install NoCD
• Configure the game settings (you can do it through setup.exe in the directory with installed game)
• Launch the game and play. If the game doesn't run - open the directory with the game and find wow.exe. Right click on wow.exe - Properties - Compatibility - Set "Run this app in compatibility mode with Windows 2000 or XP".
• If the game doesn't run anyway - open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del by default) and check for processes wow.exe and rundll32.exe. Close wow.exe but don't touch rundll32.exe (it's a Windows app for running old apps from 32-bit operational systems, most old games running through rundll32.exe). Now try to launch the game again, it must work. Don't forget to close rundll32.exe process in Task Manager after finishing playing.
