for those coming back to try this out and confused on the error "PLEASE INSERT JIMMY NEUTRON CDROM", i gotchu

the .bin file you downloaded needs to be converted into a .iso file thro any means, poweriso allows you to do so in the trial version as well, then you have to mount the newly created .iso file to your pc running windows, now enter the game

however if your running windows 10, be sure to download the patched .dll file to make it work on windows 10 and 11

Didn't work for me on Windows 10 until I installed https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2122-jimmy-neutron-boy-genius-windows-10-compatibility-fix/ , then it worked fine. Controls are much worse than I remember and no remapping is very annoying. I saw the same thing as DookieAddict where the files were locked, but after closing Neutron.exe under background processes in task manager I was then able to delete files.

Worked for me flawlessly on windows 7 32 bit. I had to use virtual clone drive, open the iso folder and mount the .bin file to the virtual drive. I only installed the game, I didnt select to install directx 8. Saves and relaunches as it should. Also a off brand ps2 usb controller worked out of box with the game.
