In 1996, Electronic Arts, Inc., Maxis Software Inc. publishes SimTunes on Windows. This simulation game is now abandonware and is set in a music / rhythm theme.

Can verify that the game is not launching in Win 10. Prob need to run it in Wine or smth to get it to run

I can't get it to work either, i tried it with the compatibility mod for WIndows 95 trying to run it in 640-480 resolution in 16-bit, no avail!

Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work either :( I installed the RIP version, got a full folder, opened the APP but in a second an error message popped up and the app was closed.

All I have in simtunes.ini is:
[SOUND]
SoundSystemUsed=DirectSound
DriverFrequency=22050
idk how to apply what newk said (if that works at all)

How does one properly install this with Windows 10? I couldn't find simtunes.ini. Please share how to make this work. Please and thank you!

It looks like SimTunes can be set to run DirectDraw by setting
UseDirectDraw=TRUE and UseDirectSound=TRUE in c:/windows/simtunes.ini,
bypassing 256 color limit.

yeh i couldnt get it to work either, it would open for a sec then just stop
