Horrible game, i think in 3 hours of playing i got to shoot my gun at maybe 3 enemies? And killing those 3 enemies was hard i had to restart about 10 different times. The levels are small rooms with loading screens INSIDE the same room.. not even joking. When you open a door you see a 2D screenshot of the next room. Then another loading screen. Its honestly hilarious

The game is trying to literally copy a shield episode rather than being a game. Its 90% cutscenes, and the only time you can control the player is when the game wants you to sneak past people to get to the next wave of cutscenes of literal actual shield scenes.

You are better off watching the shield and holding a controller in your hands

The game expects the player to be psychic, not even by accident will the game ever tell you what you have to do correctly. You have to watch a longplay alongside playing because the devs expect you to know what to do in every room.

Im 34 years old and this is definately one of the worst games ive ever played in my life. Its not a game. Clearly the developers wanted to make a AAA game while doing as little work as humanly possible. Because the gameplay consists of FOUR different action keys. You cant do ANYTHING while your gun is drawn. The game is a joke. Enemies are invincible if the game doesnt want you to kill them. The tutorial messages never stop.

In fact the whole entire game is essentially like a tutorial sequence, the game never starts, there is no game.

Also the max res is 1440x1080 wtf? if you manually change the config file to 1920x1080.. guess what? it doesnt work. SO i had to settle for dxwrapper to force the game into windowed mode

The graphics were decent, and the sounds were decent, everything else is embarassing

The game gets stuck at the adult content warning screen.... Any ideas how to continue from there? Sean's advise worked btw - for installation

UPDATE: You have to run the "Setup" exe file inside the ISO in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3 before running Hatred/Shield.exe, otherwise it won't work. Running setup in normal mode gives you an error about DirectX even if you have it installed, you need to run it in compatibility mode.

To run this game mount the .iso file then run] Shield.exe inside the HATRED folder. If it gives you an issue about DirectX google search DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer and download it from the Microsoft website.

This game was released in Poland too with Polish subtitles and I can't get it anywhere like Reservoir Dogs from 2006 in my language.
